Liver Cake for Dogs
Just 3 ingredients make this liver cake for dogs recipe. A great training treat or snack for your dog, it's also grain free and low carb.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef liver
- 2 large eggs
- 8 oz almond flour or other flour
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350F degrees. Line an 8 inch cake or baking tin with parchment paper.
- Place the liver and eggs in a blender. Blitz until you have a smooth mixture.
- Pour the blended liver mixture into a large mixing bowl and stir in the almond flour until you have a smooth mixture.
- Spoon or pour the mixture into the lined cake tin and bake for 35 minutes until firm.
- Set aside to cool before cutting the liver cake into bite-able pieces.
Notes
This liver cake makes many pieces that will last up to 3 days in the fridge in an airtight container. Freeze any surplus for up to 3 months.
