Cut into chunks and place in a medium saucepan with the water. Bring to the boil, then cover and reduce the heat to simmer. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pumpkin is soft.
Drain and set aside to cool.
Process the pumpkin in a blender until smooth.
Pour into a jar or container and store in the fridge.
