Beef Zucchini Meatballs for Dogs

Ground beef meatballs mixed with zucchini, cheese and rice make an easy treat or dinner for your dog.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 lb ground lean beef
  • 1 cup zucchini grated
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup cooked brown rice
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Using either a cookie scooper or damp hands form the mixture into meatballs.
  • Place the meatballs on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool before your dogs can enjoy them.

Notes

Makes about 24 medium sized meatballs
