Baked Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats

An easy one bowl baked dog treat with a favourite combination of bananas and peanut butter.

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats


  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix into a dough.
  • Either spread the dough evenly onto the parchment lined baking sheet or roll out the dough in between two sheets of parchment paper and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Alternatively, you can form shapes with small amounts of the dough with your hands.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until firm and golden.
  • If you have spread the dough out onto the parchment paper and baked flat, cut it into squares with a pizza cutter or knife.
  • Allow to cool before giving out a treat.


Makes about 20 medium treats
