Last updated: July 16, 2026
Pawsome Recipes respects intellectual-property rights and expects visitors, platforms, publishers and automated services to do the same.
This policy explains how content from Pawsome Recipes may be used and how to report suspected copyright infringement.
Ownership of Content
Unless otherwise stated, the content available on Pawsome Recipes is owned by or licensed to Pawsome Recipes.
Protected content includes:
- recipes and written instructions;
- articles, guides and explanatory text;
- original photographs;
- graphics and illustrations;
- videos and audio;
- social-media content;
- downloadable files;
- logos and branding;
- the selection and arrangement of content;
- recipe collections, databases and compilations.
The website and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws and treaties in the United Kingdom, United States and other jurisdictions.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Personal Use
You may:
- read and view website content for personal use;
- print or save an individual recipe for personal, non-commercial use;
- share a link to a website page;
- use standard social-sharing tools provided on the website;
- briefly quote a limited portion of an article for commentary, criticism or reference where legally permitted and accompanied by clear attribution and a link to the original page.
Permission to access the website does not transfer ownership of its content.
Uses Requiring Written Permission
You must obtain prior written permission before:
- republishing a recipe or article in full;
- reproducing original photographs, graphics or videos;
- publishing our content in a book, ebook, magazine, newsletter, app or course;
- translating and republishing content;
- creating a commercial adaptation or derivative work;

Permission requests should describe:
- the specific content requested;
- how it will be used;
- where it will appear;
- whether the use is commercial;
- the intended duration and audience.
Send requests to [email protected].
Permission is not granted unless confirmed in writing.
Recipe Attribution
Linking to a recipe does not normally require permission.
When referring readers to one of our recipes, use the recipe title and link directly to the original page.
Do not reproduce the complete instructions, article, photographs or recipe card.
Do not copy a recipe, make minor wording changes and present it as an original work.
Where you have substantially adapted one of our recipes, appropriate acknowledgement and a link to the original source are expected, although attribution alone does not authorise copying of protected expression or photographs.
Photographs
You may not download, screenshot, reproduce, alter, crop, remove watermarks from or republish our photographs without written permission.
Embedding or displaying a photograph through an unauthorised hotlink is prohibited.
Pinterest and other authorised social-sharing functions may be used in accordance with the platform’s terms and the sharing controls made available on the website.
Automated Access, Scraping and Crawling
You may not access, copy, collect, extract or store website content through:
- web scraping;
- data mining;
- spiders or crawlers;
- automated browser tools;
- bots;
- bulk downloading;
- automated extraction software;
- artificial-intelligence agents;
- retrieval or indexing systems designed to reproduce or substitute for our content.
You must comply with robots.txt instructions, robot-exclusion headers, rate limits, technical access restrictions and other measures used to prevent or limit automated access.
You may not bypass, evade or interfere with those measures.
Search-Engine Exception
Ordinary search engines may crawl and index limited portions of publicly available pages for the purpose of directing users to Pawsome Recipes, provided that the search service:
- respects applicable technical instructions;
- does not reproduce complete recipes or articles;
- does not create a substitute for visiting the website;
- does not materially impair our ability to earn revenue from our work;
- removes indexed material upon a valid request where required by law.
Limited display of titles, links, metadata, structured data, thumbnails or brief extracts may be permitted where consistent with these conditions.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Unless we provide express written permission, website content may not be used to:
- train or fine-tune an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model;
- create a training, evaluation or benchmarking dataset;
- ground or supply a retrieval-augmented generation system;
- generate answers that reproduce or substitute for our recipes or articles;
- create recipe summaries intended to remove the need to visit the original page;
- build embeddings, knowledge graphs or structured datasets from our content;
- develop or improve a commercial generative-AI product;
- produce derivative content at scale;
- provide content to an AI vendor or data broker.
This restriction applies whether content is collected directly, obtained through a third party, accessed through an API, scraped, licensed from an unauthorised source or included in a larger dataset.
No licence for machine-learning or generative-AI use is granted through publicly accessible website content.
Commercial Substitution
You may not use website content in a way that:
- serves as a source of or substitute for Pawsome Recipes;
- allows users to obtain the substantial value of our content without visiting the website;
- competes with the website;
- affects our ability to generate advertising, affiliate or licensing revenue;
- falsely suggests partnership, approval or endorsement.
This restriction applies to websites, apps, browser extensions, newsletters, search features, chatbots, voice assistants, social-media accounts, databases and other products or services.
No Implied Licence
Failure to block a particular crawler, platform or technical means of access does not constitute consent or grant an implied licence.
Public accessibility does not mean that content is in the public domain or available for unrestricted commercial use.
Trademarks
“Pawsome Recipes,” associated logos, visual branding and other source identifiers may be trademarks or protected branding.
You may not use them in a manner likely to cause confusion, imply endorsement or misrepresent an association with Pawsome Recipes.
