  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Prepare the salmon by draining it and mashing it in a mixing bowl, including any soft bones and skin (they’re safe and nutritious for dogs).
  • Add the sweet potato purée and egg to the salmon, and mix well until fully combined.
  • Stir in the brown rice flour gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if too dry, add a tablespoon of water.
  • Roll the dough out in between two layers of parchment paper. The thinner you roll the dough, the crispier the dog treats will be.
  • Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the treats are firm.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your pup.
