Banana Carrot Treats for Dogs
Easy banana carrot dog treats are made in a Dash dog treat maker but can be baked too. Grain free and loved by our dogs!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup finely shredded carrot
- 1 medium ripe banana, mashed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and mix into a dough. If the mixture is too dry, add water to bind. If it is too wet, add more flour.
- Cut the dough into 8 pieces and roll into logs to fit into the bone shapes of the dog treat maker.
- Preheat the treat maker as per the manufacturers instructions
- Lightly spray the surface of the treat maker with cooking oil.
- Place the dough logs into the bone shapes and close the lid.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes until golden and remove with silicone tongs.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Makes 8 large bone shaped treats. You may be able to get 10 to 12 with a smaller amount placed in the bone shape.
