Chicken Cranberry Meatballs for Dogs

Ground chicken with cranberries and spinach make colourful and nutritious meatballs for dogs as a treat or dinner.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup spinach frozen, defrosted
  • ½ cup cranberries, fresh
  • 1 ½ cups coconut flour
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed


  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper (or use a mini muffin tin as we did)
  • In a large bowl add all the ingredients and mix well.
  • With your clean damp hands or using a cookie scoop form meatballs, about the size of a large walnut.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until firm and golden.
  • Cool before giving to your dog.


Makes 20 meatballs
