Instructions

Prepare the Treats

  • Poach or bake the fresh salmon, with the skins removed.
  • Place the cooked salmon, egg and blueberries in a food processor or blender. Blend until combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into a medium mixing bowl and stir in the oat flour gradually until the mixture forms a dough.
  • Roll or press the dough out on a lightly floured surface and cut into shapes, or simply scoop small spoonfuls onto the tray.

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  • Place the tray in the oven bake for 15–20 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden. Flip over half way through cooking.
  • Cool completely before serving to your dog.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C).
  • Place the treats in a single layer in the air fryer basket — don’t overcrowd them.
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the treats are firm and lightly golden.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack before serving or storing.
  • Tip: For a crunchier texture, air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes and let the treats cool in the basket with the heat off.

Dehydrator Instructions

  • Preheat your dehydrator to 135°F (57°C).
  • Mix and shape the dough as above — small discs or bite-sized pieces work best.
  • Arrange the treats evenly on the dehydrator trays, leaving space for air circulation
  • Dehydrate for 6–8 hours, or until the treats are dry and slightly crisp.
  • Cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
  • Tip: Dehydrated treats will last longer — up to 2 weeks in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer — making them perfect for bulk prepping healthy dog snacks!
