Lamb Meatloaf for Dogs
This easy meatloaf for dogs is made with ground lamb, vegetables, oats and flaxseed.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb ground lamb
- ½ cup pumpkin puree homemade if possible
- 1 medium carrot peeled and grated
- ½ cup oats (rolled oatmeal)
- ½ cup flaxseed meal
- ¼ cup parsley chopped
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and lightly grease and line a 2lb loaf tin with parchment paper. Or use a fun novelty dog bone tin as we did!
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly to incorporate well.
- Spoon the meatloaf mixture into the tin and spread evenly and firmly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top of the meatloaf is firm.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool before slicing and serving
Notes
Makes 15 servings with a serving being a small slice.
