Apple Strawberry Dog Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple sauce unsweetened
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries chopped
- 1 cup cottage cheese
Instructions
- Add the applesauce, strawberries and cottage cheese to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon or pour into silicone molds, ice cube trays or a freezer-safe container.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Serve straight from the freezer or leave at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
Notes
This recipe makes 3 cups, which we have put as 12 servings, with a serving being 1/4 cup.
Serving Guide
- Small dogs (under 20 lb / 9 kg): 1–2 tablespoons
- Medium dogs (20–50 lb / 9–23 kg): Up to ¼ cup
- Large dogs (50+ lb / 23 kg): Up to ½ cup
