Butternut Squash Coconut Flour Dog Treats

These homemade coconut flour dog treats are made with just 4 ingredients for a tasty grain free snack. Butternut squash, banana, eggs and coconut flour all made a tasty treat.

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the banana with the eggs.
  • Add the coconut flour and butternut squash and mix well until a dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough in between two sheets of parchment paper ¼ inch thick.
  • Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes or simply use a knife to cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
  • Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Give out as treats and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Makes about 25 cookies.
We have assumed that the butternut squash puree has been made in advance.
