Goat Meat Stew Recipe

A hearty, nutrient-rich goat meat stew for dogs made with lean protein, sweet potatoes, and dog-safe veggies. Great for sensitive pups!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 lb goat meat (lean or trimmed stew cuts)
  • 1 cup sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup zucchini, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oi or olive oi/flaxseed oil
  • 1 large egg, including the shell
  • 1/4 teaspoon kelp powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric add a dash of black pepper
  • 2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add goat meat and cook until browned.
  • Add diced sweet potatoes, zucchini, turmeric and ginger. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25–30 minutes until veggies are soft.
  • Add the egg and crush the shell into small pieces. Cook for 2 minutes and stir through the goat stew mixture.
  • Remove from heat. Once cool, add the kelp powder. Stir well.
  • Serve to wagging tails.

This recipe makes about 4 cups of dog food. 
Store in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze in portions
