Ingredients

  • 16 oz ground lamb
  • 1.5 oz lamb liver, chopped
  • 3 oz sardines
  • 2 oz bok choy, finely chopped
  • 1 oz broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 oz zucchini, finely chopped
  • 1 oz red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 oz shiitake mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or pot, brown the ground lamb over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Add the chopped lamb liver to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liver is cooked through.
  • Add the drained sardines to the skillet and break them apart with a spoon, mixing them evenly with the lamb and liver.
  • Add the chopped bok choy, broccoli, zucchini, red pepper, turmeric, ground ginger and shiitake mushrooms to the skillet. Stir to combine with the meat mixture.
  • Cover the skillet and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Once the vegetables are cooked through, remove the skillet from heat and allow the mixture to cool completely.
