Packed with natural breath-freshening ingredients like parsley and mint, these homemade dog breath treats are also made with coconut flour and coconut oil for added health benefits.
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the coconut flour, parsley, and mint.
Add the egg, coconut oil and Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, gradually add water until the consistency is workable.
Roll out the dough in between two layers of parchment paper to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the treats are golden brown and crisp.
Allow the treats to cool completely on a wire rack before storing.
Notes
These made 40 small treats with a serving being 2 treats.
