Ingredients
 
 

  • 22 oz diced turkey breast
  • 2 oz beef heart chopped
  • 1.5 oz beef liver chopped
  • 1 oz beef kidney chopped
  • 1.5 oz sweet potato diced
  • 1 oz green beans chopped
  • 1 oz carrots diced
  • 1 tablespoon hempseed hearts
  • 1/2 teaspoon eggshell powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kelp powder
  • 1 teaspoon salmon oil
  • 3-4 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Lightly brown the diced turkey in a large saucepan on a medium heat.
  • Add the chopped heart, liver and kidneys.
  • Add the chopped green beans, carrots and sweet potato.
  • Pour the water over the ingredients and cover with the saucepan lid.
  • Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the hempseed hearts, eggshell powder, kelp and salmon oil.
  • Cool and serve to happy pups.

This recipe makes approximately 1.5–1.7kg of stew, depending on how much liquid is retained during cooking. This equals around 6–7 servings for a medium-sized dog, or more if feeding smaller portions.
