Ingredients

  • 2 mediium zucchinis

Instructions

Dehydrator Instructions

  • Slice the zucchini into thin rounds, approximately ⅛ inch thick. Try to keep the slices even for consistent drying.
  • Pat the slices dry with kitchen towel to remove moisture.
  • Arrange the slices in a single layer on your dehydrator trays. Avoid overlapping.
  • Dehydrate at 125°F (52°C) for 6–10 hours, depending on the thickness of the slices and how crispy you want them.
  • Check periodically after 6 hours. The chips should feel dry and slightly crisp.
  • Allow the zucchini chips to cool completely before storing.

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) or the lowest setting available.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer without overlapping.
  • Bake for 2–3 hours, flipping the slices halfway through cooking.
  • For extra crispy chips, leave the oven door slightly open during the last 30 minutes to help moisture escape.
  • Remove once the chips are dry and lightly crisp.
  • Allow the chips to cool completely before serving or storing.
