Ingredients

Just 3 ingredients make these tasty homemade cat treats.

Three labeled ingredients on a surface: ground turkey in a bowl, pumpkin puree in another bowl, and an egg.
  • Pumpkin Puree : A great source of fiber and vitamins, pumpkin can help with digestion and support a healthy gut for your cat. Be sure to use pure pumpkin puree with no added sugar or spices.
  • Ground Turkey : A lean protein that is easy for cats to digest, turkey provides essential amino acids to support muscle health and energy levels. Choose unseasoned, fresh ground turkey to avoid additives that might not be safe for cats.
  • Egg : Eggs are packed with protein and healthy fats, adding moisture and helping bind the treats together. They also provide essential nutrients like biotin and B vitamins.

How To Make Turkey Pumpkin Cat Treats

We use a piping bag to make these treats but you could spread the mixture out on a baking tray, bake and then cut into bite sized pieces. (My piping skills leave a lot to be desired, so I might try that next time!)

Raw ground meat, an egg yolk, and a dollop of orange puree in a clear bowl on a dark surface.

Recipe Tips

If the mixture is too dry, add a tiny bit of water to help it come together. If it’s too wet, a small amount of additional turkey can help firm it up.

Shape the treats into small, kitty-friendly sizes to make them easy for your pet to chew and enjoy.

Storage

Store the cat treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

For longer storage, you can freeze the treats in small batches for 1–2 months. Just thaw and serve as needed!
