Recipe Tips

Avoid high heat or overcooking—especially for the salmon and organs. Gentle cooking helps preserve omega-3s and sensitive vitamins.

Cut everything into similar-sized pieces so it cooks evenly and gives a consistent texture throughout the meal.

Even if your salmon is labelled boneless, give it a quick check after cooking and flaking—just to be safe.

Storage

Proper storage keeps your dog’s food fresh, safe, and just as nutritious as the day you made it.

In the Fridge

  • Store in an airtight container
  • Keeps fresh for up to 3 days
  • Allow food to cool completely before refrigerating

💡 Tip: Portion into daily servings so it’s quick to grab at mealtime.

In the Freezer

  • Freeze in individual portions or meal-sized containers
  • Keeps well for 2–3 months
  • Label with the date to keep track

💡 Silicone moulds or freezer bags work great for easy portioning.

Defrosting & Serving

  • Defrost overnight in the fridge
  • Or use a gentle defrost setting (avoid cooking it again)
  • Serve at room temperature or slightly warmed—not straight from the fridge
