HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN PUMPKIN DOG FOOD
This is an easy one pot chicken dog food recipe.

Cook ingredients in a pot with water.

Cool and serve to wagging tails.
Recipe Tips
Fresh pumpkin is used but you could use homemade pumpkin puree too. Pumpkin is a great source of fiber for dogs too. If using canned pumpkin, ensure it’s 100% pure pumpkin without added sugars or spices.
Brown rice can be swapped with white rice if your dog is having digestive issues and you need a meal easy on their stomach.
When chopping the pumpkin and chicken into pieces, try to keep them the same size.
Storage
Store cooled dog food in an airtight container in the fridge. It will stay fresh for up to 3 days.
Freezing
Divide into individual portions for easy thawing. Use freezer-safe containers or ziplock bags (remove excess air before sealing). Freeze for up to 3 months.
Thaw frozen portions in the fridge overnight. If needed, warm slightly in the microwave or on the stove. Ensure food is room temperature before serving—never too hot.

Just wondering if you might have a recipe using beef liver?
We have our liver cake: https://pawsomerecipes.com/liver-cake-for-dogs/
Will this work with cooked pieces of a whole chicken(no spices) cold added and cooked up with the rest?
Hi, great idea! Yes it would.
I do something similar…Boil water and add the chicken, then I add the rice, let it cook. Drain off excess water and let cool. Then I put in a can of pure pumpkin puree (no spices added) and mix it up real good so the chicken shreds a bit. My dog loves it and its so easy to make in one pot.
