CAN DOGS EAT WATERMELON?

Watermelon is a great fruit for dogs, especially in summer. However, you must remove the seeds and rind as these are not suitable for dogs.

THE INGREDIENTS

All you need to make this frozen watermelon dog treats is:

  • Watermelon - seeds and rind removed
  • Natural yogurt - Greek or coconut yogurt can be used too. Always check the sugar content.

Remember to go slowly when introducing new foods. And we recommend checking with your veterinarian first if your dog has any digestive issues or other health concerns.

HOW TO MAKE WATERMELON DOG ICE CREAM

All you need to make this iced dog treat recipe is watermelon and natural yogurt. The watermelon should be fresh not canned.
