Recipe Tips
Here are some handy tips to get the best results from these simple egg dog treats ๐ฅ๐พ
- Whisk well: Beat the egg thoroughly so the yolk and white are fully combined for an even bake.
- Bake low and steady: A moderate oven helps the egg cook through without burning or puffing too much.
- Don’t overfill: If you’re using molds or tins, fill just below the top to prevent overflow as the egg sets.
- Let them cool completely: The treats will firm up as they cool and release more easily from the tray.
- Cut to size: If baking in a flat tray, slice into small pieces once cooled-perfect for training treats.
- Store properly: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and use within a few days.
- Feed in moderation: Eggs are nutritious but rich, so these treats should be given as an occasional snack.

Storage Instructions
Here’s how to store your dog egg treats safely and keep them fresh ๐พ๐ฅ
- Let the treats cool completely before storing to prevent moisture buildup.
- Refrigerate in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
- For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container or bag for up to 2 months.
- Thaw safely: defrost in the fridge and bring to room temperature before feeding.
- Check before serving: if they smell off or look slimy, discard them.
- Since these treats contain eggs and have no preservatives, keeping them chilled is the best way to keep your dog safe and happy.
