Can Dogs Eat Apple and Cinnamon?

Yes, dogs can generally eat apples and cinnamon in moderation. Apples are a safe and healthy fruit for dogs, as they are low in fat and provide dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants. However, it's important to remove the apple seeds and core before feeding them to your dog, as the seeds contain small amounts of cyanide, which can be harmful in large quantities.

Cinnamon is also safe for dogs in small amounts and is beneficial for its anti-inflammatory properties. However, excessive amounts of cinnamon can irritate a dog's digestive system, so it's best to use it sparingly.

Is Frozen Yogurt Safe For Dogs?

Frozen yogurt is safe for dogs but ensure that the yogurt is unsweetened and plain. If your dog is lactose intolerant, it may be best to avoid yogurt. Try a natural coconut yogurt instead.

Remember to go slowly when introducing new foods. And we recommend checking with your veterinarian first if your dog has any digestive issues or other health concerns.

Ingredients

You probably already have the ingredients you need to make these frozen yogurt dog treats in your kitchen.

How Many Frozen Treats Should You Give Your Dog?

The number of frozen treats you should give to your dog depends on various factors such as their size, age, activity level, and overall health. It's important to consider treats as part of your dog's overall diet and not exceed their daily caloric intake.

As a general guideline, homemade dog treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake.
