I know my 5 month old puppy would love this dish. Could I slow cook this dish? Doe’s cow liver have a strong smell?. I have never used offal but I know I will have to add it to my puppies homecooked meals. Please and thank you
I think your puppy would love this dish and yes you could make this in a slow cooker. The liver does have a slight smell but it’s not too strong. Personally, I hate handling liver but the things you do for your dogs! Hope your puppy likes it!
Made the turkey stew recipe just kept it simple no liver or kidney and no topping yet will introduce them slowly as my dog has a sensitive stomach.
I am absolutely delighted with this recipe and would definitely recommend it to others.
I was a bit confused as the amount it made was as it states around 3lb but that was the drained weight without the water used to cook in.
I emailed Angela who kindly replied immediately and explained the water could be blended with some of the cooked meal to provide an additional topper.
Thank you to Angela for creating fantastic recipe and very quick reply it is greatly appreciated by me and my dog 🐕
Jonathan, you have made my day with your kind comments! Delighted your dog enjoys the recipe!
