Making A Football Cookie Cutter
If you don’t have football cookie cutters in your kitchen, you can improvise with a small paper cup. We squeezed the paper cup into a football shape (which is much like an eye shape). Or you can use the squeezed paper cup as a template and cut out the shape.

Ingredients
Just 3 ingredients make these tasty Game Day dog treats. The frosting is optional but fun!

Cookie Dough
- Bananas : A natural sweetener packed with fiber, potassium, and vitamins that support digestion and heart health.
- Rice Flour : A gluten-free alternative that makes the cookies easy to digest and gives them a light texture. Other dog friendly flours can be substituted.
- Peanut Butter: A tasty source of healthy fats and proteinโbut make sure it’s xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs!
Frosting
- Peanut Butter: Helps create a creamy, dog-approved topping.
- Greek Yogurt : Adds a smooth consistency to the frosting while providing probiotics for gut health.
How To Make Football Dog Treats
This is an easy homemade dog treat to bake. The fun part is the frosting of the footballs!

Mash the bananas.

Stir in the peanut butter.

Fold in the rice flour.

Mix into a dough.

Roll out the dough.

Cut out football shaped cookies.

Place on a baking tray and bake.

Cool and cover with a peanut butter layer.

Pipe the ball laces with Greek yogurt.
Recipe Tips
โ๏ธ Use Natural Peanut Butter โ Always check the label to ensure thereโs no xylitol, added sugar, or artificial sweeteners.
โ๏ธ Adjust Texture โ If the dough is too dry, add a teaspoon of water or more mashed banana. If too sticky, add a little more rice flour.

Storage
Store the football-shaped dog cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months, without the frostingโjust thaw before serving! ๐๐ถ
