This is a great 3 ingredient dog treat with the cookie baking firm and crunchy. My dogs loved these probably because of the peanut butter topping! I had fun making them too, although my piping skills need more work!

Making A Football Cookie Cutter

If you don’t have football cookie cutters in your kitchen, you can improvise with a small paper cup. We squeezed the paper cup into a football shape (which is much like an eye shape). Or you can use the squeezed paper cup as a template and cut out the shape.

Ingredients

Just 3 ingredients make these tasty Game Day dog treats. The frosting is optional but fun!

A marble countertop holds bowls of rice flour and Greek yogurt, a dish of peanut butter, and two ripe bananasโ€”perfect for crafting football-inspired dog treats. Labels identify each ingredient.

Cookie Dough

  • Bananas : A natural sweetener packed with fiber, potassium, and vitamins that support digestion and heart health.
  • Rice Flour : A gluten-free alternative that makes the cookies easy to digest and gives them a light texture. Other dog friendly flours can be substituted.
  • Peanut Butter: A tasty source of healthy fats and proteinโ€”but make sure it’s xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs!

Frosting

  • Peanut Butter: Helps create a creamy, dog-approved topping.
  • Greek Yogurt : Adds a smooth consistency to the frosting while providing probiotics for gut health.
